The most portable professional DSNG transmission system on the market today EXOS provides a complete lightweight flexible system ideal for rapid deployment when combined with an Advent 1m or 1.2m Mantis antenna.
Key to reducing weight is a break from traditional 19-inch rack mounted equipment in flight cases.
Instead there are four waterproof modules with rugged housings each weighing less than 3 kg transported in a customised to meet airline baggage check in requirements.
- The Exciter module caters for full broadcast MPEG2 video & audio, and control of remote up-converter & HPA, all via a single cable. With RF PA units for C, X, Ku and DBS bands
- The Data Bridge module enables IP access to a corporate network and data, video file transfer and audio. Coupled to the ‘ SSPA' module, with integral up-converter, completes the system for lower bandwidth applications.
- The Sat Finder module combines a beacon receiver, with audible dish alignment tool and integral GPS receiver, compass, and satellite position calculation software. Offering an easy-to-use tool for unskilled operators
to align the antenna system on the correct satellite.
- All modules are DC powered, or AC using the EXOS power-supply unit.
